The “IELTS level 3” course
This course definitely helped me a lot with my IELTS test, especially writing and speaking. I was able to be confident in the test room, knowing that I was well prepared. I know exactly what to do in writing, what to expect in speaking and how to deal with that. It was thank to Mike’s advices and a lot of practice. Although, the course focus was not on Reading and Listening, I also received many good tips and materials. I am inclined to believe that the course might not teach you English grammar or vocabulary, or give you an IELTS test to practice every class, but help you building up your skills by showing the way to practice and ways of doing the IELTS test right.
I would strongly recommend the course to whoever need to take the IELTS Test, if you want to ask me that.
Mike – My #1 AWESOME teacher
Mike is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He definitely understands his students well to help them achieve their goals. His advices were helpful and easy to follow. For example, ‘answer the questions, keep it simple, and be organized’ was what he asked us to do in Writing. This line echoed in my head on my test day and I try to do exactly. It turned out better than I expect!
Some students may say he is strict, but I know he is a teacher with reasonable rules. As long as you follow the rules and be serious with studying, he is an angel (with a good sense of humor, in my opinion!). He would give you everything you need for studying English, from IELTS Materials to comics, books, movies,…, whichever match your interest. (He once gave a collection of novels by Stephen King, who grew to be one of my favorite author!)
What I love most about his class is that he did not mind sharing his ideas about everything and encourage us to share ours. It was always exciting to listen to him and talk to him. He is an inspiring teacher who always believe in us making the great things, and I really appreciate him for that.
