Ms. Trần Mai Thi graduated with Honors in Economics and Finance from RMIT University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in English Language Teaching at the University of St. Andrews, UK – the oldest university in Scotland, ranking among the top universities in the UK and worldwide. Not only renowned for its high-quality education, St. Andrews is also famous as the university where Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton began their love story.
With a TESOL certificate and over 4 years of experience teaching IELTS, particularly with beginner students, she consistently delivers lessons that are both effective and inspiring. She has worked as a tutor at RMIT University and supported students with disabilities at the university’s Education Equality department.
Additionally, she has a deep understanding of the challenges that Vietnamese learners often face when learning English—such as grammar, pronunciation, and cultural differences. Using a refined and approachable teaching method focused on vocabulary development, basic grammar, and communication skills, she helps students progress quickly and gain confidence in using English every day.
Beyond language knowledge, Ms. Thi also shares practical experiences from working at international corporations such as Nielsen and EY, helping students understand how to apply English in a global work environment. She also brings interesting cultural stories from her “backpacking” travels, inspiring and sparking a passion for communication and exploring the world.
