Jacob Aaron Egelhoff holds a Master’s degree in Composition and Rhetoric from the University of Montana, with a strong academic focus on writing, communication, and critical thinking. His background in university-level instruction has shaped a structured, learner-centered teaching approach that emphasizes clarity, organization, and confidence in language use.

Before teaching in Vietnam, Jacob worked as a university English instructor and teaching assistant, where he designed and delivered composition and rhetoric courses while supporting diverse learners in developing academic writing skills. Alongside his academic career, he also gained professional experience as a first responder, strengthening his ability to communicate clearly, remain calm under pressure, and support learners in challenging situations.

Now teaching in Vietnam, Jacob specializes in IELTS preparation—particularly Speaking and Writing—helping students apply effective strategies, develop critical thinking, and achieve measurable progress in both exams and real-world communication.
