Our trainers are skilled in teaching IELTS to students of all levels. Strong knowledge of all four components of the IELTS exam, the ability to apply effective strategies to improve band scores, and accurate assessment of speaking and writing are essential to our success.

Our trainers work closely with the Academic Support Team and Customer Service staff to provide a comprehensive, wrap-around support system tailored to each individual’s needs. This includes ongoing guidance, encouragement, additional tutorial support, and assistance with any learning challenges. These collaborations are integral to our students’ success.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic, high-quality, communicative IELTS training across a range of student levels, in line with academic materials and standards.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular, targeted feedback to improve performance across all four skills.
• Grade IELTS writing tasks in a timely manner, providing accurate and constructive feedback aligned with official band descriptors.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records within the CRM system, working closely with team members to ensure a coordinated and high-quality service.
• Contribute to the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of IELTS courses, materials, and related services to ensure they remain current and effective.
• Actively engage in professional development and performance management to maintain high standards of teaching quality.
• Support local marketing and promotional activities, and collaborate with other departments to deliver an excellent student experience.
• Ensure all training meets student needs, IELTS goals, and company standards.
• Proactively use technology during lessons where appropriate, and for ongoing student support through the LMS.

3. Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field.
• A recognised teaching qualification (CELTA or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching IELTS.
• Strong working knowledge of the IELTS exam system and assessment criteria.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace equivalents.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends to meet student demand.
• Availability to teach within the following time windows, based on scheduling needs:
  – Monday to Friday: 5:00 PM – 9:45 PM
  – Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

4. Other key requirements of the job:

• Must be eligible for a Vietnamese work permit (no passport restrictions).
• Original academic and teaching certificates must be provided for work permit processing. This may include degree certificates, teaching qualifications, and a police clearance from previous countries of residence.
• References from previous employers may be required.
• A full medical check must be completed locally, in line with Vietnamese government requirements.
• A criminal record certificate is required, issued either by the applicant’s country of residence or by the Department of Justice in Vietnam (if residing in Vietnam for more than six months).
• All qualifications must be properly notarised and legalised by the relevant authorities in the issuing country (e.g. UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or other recognised jurisdictions).

5. Annual Review
