Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.

Bài mẫu IELTS Writing Task 1 band 8.0+

The diagram illustrates an evacuation plan for a college dormitory, outlining fire exits, staircases, and designated meeting points for residents. Overall, the plan features multiple exit routes, two staircases, and designated assembly areas located outside the building.

The main evacuation routes lead to two designated meeting points—one to the north of the building, near the parking lot, and another to the east, adjacent to the main road. Fire exits are strategically positioned, with one on the southern side, next to the staircase, and another on the western end, near the back entrance.

The staircases provide critical access to upper floors, with one positioned in the northeast corner, close to an emergency exit, and another toward the southwest, near the central corridor. Some rooms in the northwest section lack direct access to a staircase, which could increase evacuation time.

The fire exits are located on the southern side, near a staircase, and on the western side, close to the back entrance. The dormitory has two staircases, one in the northeast corner near an exit and the other in the southwest, next to the central corridor.

Some bedrooms are closer to the exits, making it easier to leave the building. However, rooms in the northwest corner are farther from the staircases, which might take longer to evacuate.
