Recruitment: English Communication Teacher

KTDC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Communication English Teacher to deliver a 1-year, full-time training program for employees of Key corporate Client.

The role focuses on improving adult learners’ workplace communication, pronunciation, vocabulary, and speaking confidence through structured lesson plans aligned with KTDC’s program guidelines.
You will work under KTDC’s employment contract but teach directly at or for our key corporate client’s assigned training locations/online platforms.

1. Job Description:

Teaching & Classroom Management:

  • Deliver up to 6 teaching hours per day (max), within an 8-hour workday.

Teach Communication English focused on:

  • Workplace speaking skills
  • Pronunciation correction
  • Vocabulary expansion for real-world scenarios
  • Functional communication for customer service & internal communication
  • Facilitate interactive and practical lessons (role-plays, discussions, simulations).

Curriculum & Lesson Planning

  • Plan lessons based on KTDC’s official program guideline & syllabus.Prepare session materials, activities, and assessments aligned with learning outcomes.
  • Adjust lesson style to suit various proficiency levels within assigned classes.

Student Interaction & Support

  • Provide constructive feedback to learners to improve fluency and accuracy.
  • Monitor progress and maintain classroom engagement.
  • Support learners facing communication or pronunciation challenges.

Reporting & Quality Assurance

  • Submit weekly teaching reports, attendance records, and progress notes.
  • Participate in internal training, academic meetings, and periodic performance reviews.
  • Maintain teaching quality consistent with KTDC standards.

2. WORK SCHEDULE & CONDITIONS:

  • Full-time position: 8 hours/day, 6 days/week → 1 day off/week.
  • Maximum teaching load: 6 hours/day (the remaining hours are for preparation, reporting, and meetings).
  • Schedules may be adjusted to fit the operational needs of Key Client some classes may occur outside regular working hours but total workload will not exceed the required hours.
  • Public holidays, paid leave, and working regulations follow Vietnam Labour Law.
  • Work location: at corporate client ’s designated offices or online (as required)

3. JOB REQUIREMENT:

  • Native level English speaker with a passport from the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand.
  • Bachelor’s degree (in any field; education-related preferred).
  • Internationally recognized ESL teaching certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA).
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in adult communication English, ESL, corporate training, or similar programs.
  • Professionalism and dynamism, with a passion for teaching and a commitment to real English education.
  • Good communication, persuasion, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal style – with cultural sensitivity to deal with diverse nationalities.
  • Good PC skills in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point.
  • Strong command of English; clear and neutral pronunciation.
  • Ability to engage working adults and relate lessons to practical workplace contexts.
    Preferred
  • Experience teaching in corporate environments (HR, customer service, operations, sales).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability when teaching mixed-level groups.
  • Knowledge of Vietnamese learners’ common pronunciation challenges.
